Regular firmware updates provide feature improvements, optimizations, and hardware stability fixes. You can effortlessly monitor and update your clock directly inside the app.
Checking for Updates
Section titled “Checking for Updates”Whenever a clock connects, the NIX App cross-references the internal firmware version against the latest release.
- If an update is ready, an Update Available alert will flash in the Top Connection Bar and the firmware details section.
How to Perform an Update
Section titled “How to Perform an Update”Follow these precise instructions to update your device:
- Open the INFO & DIAGNOSTICS card.
- Click the Firmware Version sub-strip to expand the management toolkit.
- Review the Installed Version versus the Latest Version (and read the provided Changelog notes).
- Click Update Firmware (or Reinstall).
- Confirm & Proceed: Read the connection disclaimer and click Proceed with Update.
Bootloader Handshake
Section titled “Bootloader Handshake”During the process, the clock will temporarily restart into "Bootloader Mode".
- The interface will prompt: Reconnection Required.
- Click Reconnect & Resume and re-select your device from the browser prompt to finalize the flashing process.
Once fully successfully pushed, the clock restarts back into normal timekeeping operation.
