Clock Settings

Adjust your clock's behavior using the collapsible cards in the main dashboard.

Time & Date

The Time & Date card governs internal timekeeping formatting and synchronization.

Time Synchronization:
- Sync to computer time: Toggled on by default to capture your local clock timestamps.
- Apply Time Now: A button to instantly push the exact time packet to the hardware.
- Manual Override: Toggle sync off to expose numeric selectors for hour, minute, second, and date.
Formatting:
- Choose between 12-hour or 24-hour modes.
- Set the date format to DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY.
- Show leading zero on hour: (Model dependent) Hides or shows placeholders (e.g., 09:45 vs 9:45).

Tailor graphical transitions, sensory outputs, and tube logic.

Display Cycling Modes:
- Set to show time only, or cycle through date and temperature at intervals (e.g., 30s, 1min, 5min).
- Use toggles to add or remove Date and Temperature metrics from the rotation.
Temperature Logic: Select measurement units in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Visual Aesthetics:
- Colon Animation: Choose separator dot styles (Off, Flash Fast, Flash Slow, Static On).
- Digit Styles (Tails): (Model dependent) Toggles bottom hooks on digits 6, 7, and 9.
- Flip Display: Rotates text 180° for inverted setups.
Audible Feedback: Toggle Beep on button press and set volume to Loud or Quiet.

Calibrate luminous scaling based on environmental tracking or schedules.

Tube Intensity: Use sliders to set independent Day-time and Night-time power levels.
Night-Time Triggers: Choose one of two options:
1. Ambient Light Sensor (ALS): Automatically scales based on room light. Use Measure Current Light Level to poll local thresholds.
2. Fixed Schedule: Enforces boundaries using a timer with 15-minute interval accuracy.
Smart Scaling:
- Night-time LEDs: Set backlighting behavior at night (Off, 12.5%, 50%, No Change).
- Dynamic Brightness Autoscaling: Continuously adjusts to sensor variations.

Manage the RGB backlighting rules.

Custom Colour Mixer:
- Adjust R, G, and B sliders (from 0 to 31).
- Preview Swatch: Displays temporary mock samples on the clock chassis in real-time.
Colour Mapping: Apply distinct backdrops for the Time, Date, and Temperature screens.
Animations: Enable Cycling to traverse gradients with adjustable speeds (from 10 seconds to 24 hours).

Mitigates cathode degradation ("ghosting") caused by static digits.

Master Enable: Toggle the baseline execution criteria.
Pattern Cycles: Select from sequences like Slot Machine, All Fade, or Random Digits.
Run Now: Instantly trigger a real-time testing loop.

Setup scheduling sequences to prolong tube lifespan.
