Your NIX labs product includes the following items:

• NIX labs Nixie Clock
• Power Adaptor (Australian plug or Multi-Region for international orders)
• Quick-Start Guide

Powering Up

1. Connect the power adaptor's USB connector to the USB port on the back of the clock.

2. Plug the adaptor into a wall outlet (and switch it on if required).

The clock will power up within 3 seconds, run a display test for approximately 20 seconds, and then be ready for operation.

Other Power Sources

Power supply voltage is critical for achieving maximum display brightness and reliablity. NIX labs recomends using only the supplied power adaptor when running from mains power and only high quality USB data cables when connected to a computer or other device.

If an alternative adaptor must be used, ensure it meets these requirements:

• Output: 5.0-5.1V and rated for at least 1A.
• Compliance: Must carry the required regulatory safety and compliance markings for your country (eg. Australian RCM and/or UL mark).

Power Supply Warning

Avoid generic, unbranded power adaptors. Poor-quality power adaptors present a fire risk and an electric shock hazard and may damage your clock.
