Web Interface Configuration

The AL60 features a powerful built-in web interface that allows you to configure every aspect of the clock from any device on your network.

To access the interface, simply type the clock's IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.50) into your web browser.

The main dashboard provides quick access to the most common controls:

  • Clock Mode Select: Choose between Standard, Fade, Rainbow, and other visual effects.
  • Lighting Controls: Individually set the colors for the Hour, Minute, and Second hands, as well as the hour markers.
  • Brightness Sliders:
    • Standard Brightness: The brightness level used when you are in the room.
    • Low/Off Brightness: The brightness level used when no motion is detected or during scheduled "night" times.

The AL60 includes advanced logic to manage its brightness and visibility:

  • Light Control Mode:
    • Motion Detection: Uses the built-in radar to switch between Standard and Low brightness based on occupancy.
    • Ambient Light: Uses the light sensor to scale brightness based on the room's illumination level.
    • Manual/Off: Keeps the clock at a fixed brightness level.
  • Ambient Thresholds: Fine-tune the sensitivity of the light sensor to ensure the clock is always readable but never too bright at night.
  • Enable SNTP Sync: Toggle automatic internet time synchronisation.
  • Time Zone: Set your local timezone using a POSIX rule.
  • Auto-Detect Time Zone: A convenient button that uses your IP address to automatically determine and apply the correct timezone for your location.
  • Environmental Data: View real-time temperature and humidity readings from the built-in sensors.
  • Sensor Offsets: If you find the sensors are consistently off by a few degrees (due to placement or local conditions), you can apply a calibration offset here.
  • System Diagnostics: Click the gear icon in the upper right to view system health, WiFi signal strength, and firmware version information.
