The AL60 features a powerful built-in web interface that allows you to configure every aspect of the clock from any device on your network.
To access the interface, simply type the clock's IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.50) into your web browser.
Controlling Your Clock
Section titled “Controlling Your Clock”The main dashboard provides quick access to the most common controls:
- Clock Mode Select: Choose between Standard, Fade, Rainbow, and other visual effects.
- Lighting Controls: Individually set the colors for the Hour, Minute, and Second hands, as well as the hour markers.
- Brightness Sliders:
- Standard Brightness: The brightness level used when you are in the room.
- Low/Off Brightness: The brightness level used when no motion is detected or during scheduled "night" times.
Smart Lighting Settings
Section titled “Smart Lighting Settings”The AL60 includes advanced logic to manage its brightness and visibility:
- Light Control Mode:
- Motion Detection: Uses the built-in radar to switch between Standard and Low brightness based on occupancy.
- Ambient Light: Uses the light sensor to scale brightness based on the room's illumination level.
- Manual/Off: Keeps the clock at a fixed brightness level.
- Ambient Thresholds: Fine-tune the sensitivity of the light sensor to ensure the clock is always readable but never too bright at night.
Time & Region Settings
Section titled “Time & Region Settings”- Enable SNTP Sync: Toggle automatic internet time synchronisation.
- Time Zone: Set your local timezone using a POSIX rule.
- Auto-Detect Time Zone: A convenient button that uses your IP address to automatically determine and apply the correct timezone for your location.
Sensors & Diagnostics
Section titled “Sensors & Diagnostics”- Environmental Data: View real-time temperature and humidity readings from the built-in sensors.
- Sensor Offsets: If you find the sensors are consistently off by a few degrees (due to placement or local conditions), you can apply a calibration offset here.
- System Diagnostics: Click the gear icon in the upper right to view system health, WiFi signal strength, and firmware version information.
