The AL60 features three physical buttons on the top or rear of the device, allowing you to control most features without needing to access the Web Interface.
Button Layout
Section titled “Button Layout”- Mode Button: Used for switching between different visual modes and lighting controls.
- Hour Button: Used for manual time adjustment and maintenance tasks.
- Minute Button: Used for manual time adjustment and maintenance tasks.
Mode Button Actions
Section titled “Mode Button Actions”The Mode button is highly versatile and supports multiple types of interaction:
- Single Click: Cycles through the primary Clock Effects (Standard, Fade, Rainbow, RGB, Mono).
- Double Click: Cycles through the Sensory Effects on the notification layer. This allows you to overlay temperature and humidity data on top of the clock face.
- Long Press (1 Second): Cycles through the Light Control Modes:
- Motion Detection: Uses the built-in radar to brighten when motion is detected.
- Ambient Light: Adjusts brightness automatically based on room lighting.
- Manual/Off: Keeps the clock at a constant brightness or turns off automatic scaling.
Manual Time Adjustment
Section titled “Manual Time Adjustment”If you are not using internet time (SNTP), you can set the time manually using the Hour and Minute buttons:
- Single Click (Hour/Minute): Increments the time by one hour or one minute. Note that incrementing the time will automatically disable internet time sync to prevent your changes from being overwritten.
- Long Press (Hour/Minute): Holding either button will result in a continuous fast-increment of the hours or minutes.
Maintenance Controls (Chord)
Section titled “Maintenance Controls (Chord)”By pressing and holding both the Hour and Minute buttons simultaneously (a "chord"), you can perform system maintenance:
- Hold for 2-10 Seconds: Re-enables internet time sync (SNTP) and reboots the clock. This is useful if you want to revert manual time changes.
- Hold for 10+ Seconds: Performs a Factory Reset, clearing all saved WiFi credentials and settings. The clock will reboot into its default state.
